Yesterday I could see the movie at last and although I was afraid a 99% that I'd dislike it, when I exited it was just the opposite. I think it couldn't be adapted in a better way.
My girlfriend came with me, she has not read the comic and she loved it too. Excellent movie.
So extreme bad opinions as the ones put above make me thinks that they have not watched the movie and/or thugs also posts messages in blogs.
Apart from the movie, I know that some years ago, a 12 x 3" CD-R series about the comic was released but due to financial problems the label was forced to cancel the series when only five parts were out... I really regret it since the material published was realy great and caught the story atmosphere. NTT was one of the parts out. That material was released in any other form?
Maybe this would be a good moment to re-working on that idea and releasing them again?emboscadohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04134565316763513677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6682751349615048371.post-65025985178241849992009-03-12T22:31:00.000-04:002009-03-12T22:31:00.000-04:00You still have copies of manga from the 1980's - b...You still have copies of manga from the 1980's - bagged and preserved. I never understood the point of preserving that kind of thing. It's not like the first copies of the Superman comic - it was disposable entertainment in Japan in the 1980s as it is now. People discarded it 20 minutes after they were done reading it. That anyone keeps such preservation of that kind of thing says to me they can't let go of the past, particularly when the comic is still around and published 20 years later. Even if you keep the stuff for sentimental reasons, the context of the actual material hasn't changed - you've just got 20 year pieces of bound paper.

As far as the Watchmen review, grow up. The guy reviewed the movie, not your extensive manga collection. And whatever context that is to be derived from the actual print comic is not analogous to the movie being what it is - translated from a 20 year old comic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6682751349615048371.post-43097319788695551942009-03-11T11:52:00.000-04:002009-03-11T11:52:00.000-04:00Holy crap!
